This year, the women's Finnish goalball championship tournament is organised by Aisti Sport ry at Lehtikuusi School in Vantaa on 16–18 October. We're looking for enthusiastic people to join the tournament in a variety of volunteer official roles – from the canteen to goal judge at the side of the court, from the livestream to social media moments, or from the DJ booth via the scorers' table to commentator, first aid or behind the wheel! None of the roles require previous experience, apart from possibly driving. 😉 Enthusiasm and a willingness to try are enough. We're very happy to show you the ropes.
Every year our tournaments include first-timers, and we don't want to break this great record. Watch the video on our social media channels in which Linnea talks about her own first experience at our tournament: she also interviewed volunteers working in different roles.
Volunteers deserve our thanks
During our tournament weekends, volunteers get meals and snacks from our delicious canteen in line with their working hours, plus a 10% discount at our online store: kauppa.aistisport.com (opens in a new tab). The store discount takes effect on the tournament weekend. The store has great products, for example as Christmas presents – from children's and adults' clothing to sports bags and even a one-of-a-kind sauna ladle!
We're also happy to write a work certificate for your volunteering. Tournaments can't be organised without volunteers, so their contribution is truly valuable. We're hugely grateful to every volunteer who joins us!

The event schedule and volunteer roles are listed on our sign-up form. You can find the tournament's match schedule in more detail on the goalball.fi website, and the roles are described on our own goalball volunteering page.
Please sign up right away using our goalball tournament volunteer form.
Also mark 21–23 May 2027 in your calendar!
This season, the final tournament deciding the titles and medals of the national goalball leagues will be played on 21–23 May in Vantaa, with Aisti as the main organiser. This great finale to the season is also an event we'll be recruiting volunteers for in the spring. Mark it in your calendar now and join us for the highlight of the season!
In addition, Aisti Sport is organising the tournament that closes the regular season in Rovaniemi on 16–18 April. You're welcome to join us in Rovaniemi too, but naturally we're mainly looking for volunteers from Northern Finland.
