Training
Training principles and the equipment required
Everyone is welcome at our ice sessions, at every level from complete beginner to old hand, whether taking it up or just trying it. At our sessions there is the chance to get coaching, particularly to develop skating skills. The session can also be used for free skating and recreation, supervised and therefore safe. We really do encourage new participants and families with children to get out on the ice to skate, or simply to spend a pleasant time on the ice.
To take part in training, participants must be wearing at least the following equipment:
- skates
- a helmet
- a neck guard
- hockey gloves

We learn to skate together, supporting one another!
For those trying it out
We have equipment to lend to anyone who wants to try, everything from outfield player to goalkeeper and from junior to adult sizes. Skating aids are also available, for the youngest in the family learning to skate, for example. To make sure equipment is available, please let us know you are coming in good time. Helmets and skates are limited in the various sizes, and it would be good for the youngest in particular to have their own helmet and skates.
